| Physician Quality
Reporting Incentives (PQRI).
Voluntary Medicare reporting program that can add to
your bottom line. With
Medicare Physician Quality Reporting Incentives (PQRI)
- 2% in 2009 and 2010 - now is the time to increase
efficiencies in this area of your practice and
qualify for the Medicare bonus payment. Select your
participation method for 2009 PQRI reporting:
• Choose at least 3 of 153 individual PQRI
quality measures and report at least 80% of
qualified patients; OR
• Choose 1 of 7 PQRI Measures Groups (Diabetes Mellitus,
Chronic Kidney Disease, Preventive Care, Rheumatoid Arthritis, Coronary Artery Bypass Graft (CABG)
Surgery, Perioperative Care, and Back Pain), and track and report data
for 30 consecutive patients or 80% of
applicable Medicare cases (minimum 30 patients or 15
patients if 1/2 year
reporting). Each
of the above methods can be reported through claims-based submission
or
registry-based submission. Our recommendation
is to select a PQRI Measures Group, track 30
consecutive patients and report through a registry.

you can participate, download the PrimaryData
